Orkut Vs Google Plus
Today somebody commented that Orkut was a preschool in social networking . May be it is true . But my preschool memories was some thing that I cherish in my mind . So feel bad about the present situation of the Social networking site which we all used to visit 50 time a day.
I have not used Friendster or myspace till date and my first exposure to social networking was through Orkut. I did not mind the statistics that Orkut is popular only in India and Brazil . Even though I moved slowly to Facebook because most of my friends chose Facebook as the hangout place , I maintained a hope that the giant like google will do some magic with orkut and I will comeback to my preschool along with my batch mates .
With the launch of Google Plus I am convinced that I was really late to stop my hopes on survival of Orkut.
May be the statics indicate that millions are egerly joining google plus I seriously doubt how many of us really need a second social networking site apart from Facebook. I know even the Facebook is seriously intruding in to my social , technical and personal life but I take it for granted. The only reason as of now for my Google plus account is that Google kept it as an invitation based entry and I dont want to left behind. But once the novelty of entry into google plus worn off , I seriously doubt it will be as good as my Google buzz account .
If Tata introduced the Nano cars straight in to the show room instead of the marketing hype of Nano booking and a waiting period , we will not see this much nanos in the street . So google succeeded in to making the google plus a hype amoung techies . But leaving the orkut users behind and moving to Google plus Google created a confusion amoung layman out here.( Yes I know only Indians and Brazelians are concerned about orkut, but I am an Indian )
I know I will not go back to my Orkut account and start using it as it was in 2006. (I also know that even if I go back to my Primary school in my home town I cant be a small boy of 5 or 6 years ). But I wish Google plus has an option to migrate a selected list of my Orkut friends along with my albums on Orkut , I will give a +1 to Google

My social networking life start with Orkut.After i start my blog,i understand that Facebook is the best place for my blog.Facebook have Like button,Like box, Sharing,Comment Box and send buttons.It actually promote my blogs to get 1500-1600 page view per day

What i felt about google + is mere adaptation of features from facebook and twitter(newsfeed etc) and the easy importing of contacts from other social sites.

I think G+ has enormous capacity and features way above what facebook offers. Privacy being the foremost issues faced by FB. The biggest advantage of G+ over FB is its backbone which is the biggest giant on the net GOOGLE. Orkut did lag the integrity with the giant. G+ is more like twitter and I am actually loving it. Its just a matter of time when friends join G+ and thereby removing FB seriously maimed, if not put out of order.

WHEN G+ WILL COME FOR EVERYONE FACEBOOK WILL LOOSE JUST LIKE ORKUT LOOSED AFTER FACEBOOK.
